My hubby loves it for his work setup
I got this keyboard for my husband to use at work and he’s really happy with it. He loves anything with lights, so the RGB effects were a big win. It’s not loud at all, which is great for the office, and the wrist rest makes it more comfortable for long hours. The phone holder is a nice touch too

keyboard
Keys are super quiet which is great as a key slammer. Function keys for RGB lights don’t work. Once activated, can’t change how the lights flow or make it stop flowing.

Great Keyboard
Great product for the price. Was looking for a silent keyboard that still gives a similar feeling of a mechanical keyboard and this one does both will.

Style
I got this for my son as he is a gamer. He absolutely loves it. He said it’s comfortable to use. Easy on his little hands. This keyboard will be a great Christmas gift for your gamer. This is a steal for the price. Overall reliable, stylish and good performance.

Great! Wrist cramps though
Amazing keyboard I love everything except the angle—it doesn’t rise high enough and still some minor wrist cramps but still amazing

Works, albeit annoyingly
So, I have this keyboard hooked up to an Apple computer and the fact that you only have one command key to work with is super irritating, especially for simple things like Printing. Probably good for a gaming den and not so much a work office, but really only if you use Macs and must have that second command key. That issue aside, the keyboard seems to work well enough. Lots f lights which is nice. I’ve killed a few keyboards in my day via liquid damage, so I’m excited to inadvertently test out the membrane and drain holes.

I purchased this keyboard to replace my previous one (which is of a similar design), as I needed some extra keys, and the other keyboard was getting a little old and temperamental in it’s age. The build of this keyboard, especially for the price, is simply amazing. Now, I shall make this clear, I am no keyboard connoisseur, I have never owned or used any mechanical keyboards, and would assume that they would be far nicer to use, but this is very much by the by. This said, I find this keyboard to be a very pleasant typing experience for me, albeit a very slightly heavier than I am used to keystroke. The original big seller for me was the macro keys, which I wrongly assumed would be usable as extra keys to assign to certain functions such as muting my microphone in OBS. Having since re-read the material both included with the keyboard, on the manufacturers website and the Amazon Store page, I realise that I made an error of judgement, and, as such, the keys are purely to make macro functions on (A combination of different keystrokes to those less technically knowledgeable). Nevertheless, I have been greatly impressed with the overall usability and quality of this keyboard, especially considering the price I got it for, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone pondering over their decision to purchase it. My only other very slight qualm with this keyboard is that a couple of the function keys are incorrectly printed in relation to what function they actually perform. These are the keys relating to the LED lighting on the board, however, once you figure out what they do, you’ll forget that all together. The only other thing is that I find, that on my unit at least, the LED brightness control feels very plasticy and cheap, and is a bit temperamental sometimes if you inadvertently knock it and change it, however this is only a very minor inconvenience, as I only ever use the keyboard on full brightness. Overall, I highly recommend purchasing this if you are in the market for a good, cheap, but very functional and pleasant to use keyboard.

Gryphon Keyboard and Mouse is a very good choice for basic gamers, who are new to gaming and for those who wish to progress from a more basic set-up. This keyboard and mouse combination makes it a very convenient bundle, without breaking the bank.Keyboard:Functionality: Great. Keys seem easy to find, without accidentally pressing more than one. Full range of multimedia keys, along with numerical pad.Programmable special key buttons, to allow for key combination entry, at the single use of a button, come in very handy from time to time.Singular ‘Game’ button which ‘locks’ the Windows key whilst in game, which prevents accidental inputs. The feel of the keys is for me, very nice. There is some feedback, which I feel is a bonus. The space key is very sturdy, unlike cheaper products, there is not a noticeable imbalance, if any at all. It definitely does not feel cheap in any way.Aesthetics: Very nice indeed. The different colour settings work great with the keys, and personally do not interfere with gaming. Key lettering / numbering is slightly transparent to allow the light to pass through, making it much easier to find keys. The only personal downside is the big ‘TeckNet’ logo across the space bar, as I think it would look much better without. Also, the backlight brightness wheel does not change colour (Always blue), though this is a very tiny matter for me. Along with that, the mouse is always blue, with no way to turn it on or off, and although it looks great in blue, it would have been slightly better to be able to colour code. The keyboard isn’t ‘silent’, but I personally like it, and you don’t tend to notice it when you’re focusing on a game.Mouse: The mouse fits well in the hand, and the buttons on the mouse are easy to reach. The three DPI settings allows for greater control or movement, handy in FPS games for being able to quickly look behind you. The mouse has some weight to it, though it may not be to everyone’s liking, and unfortunately you cannot change the weighting. Whilst the mouse is not a top spec mouse, it is also not a standard computer mouse.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, after deliberating on a few choices, I decided to go with this keyboard and mouse combo for convenience, affordability and style, and I definitely do not regret it.

The surprisingly quiet but solid keypresses of this keyboard felt weird at first, and I’m always a bit wary of typical “gamer” aesthetic stuff as it’s often somewhat uncomfortable to use with all its hard edges and “super futuristic” designs but I find myself quite pleasantly surprised with this keyboard. It requires no software or drivers to set up, and works right off the bat using built in hotkeys to adjust the lights under the keys, and the build quality is very solid. I don’t feel like I could accidentally break this thing by dropping it a couple of inches, but it’s not so heavy that it’s awkward to move about. Everything works immediately out of the box without a single bit of setup or tweaking needed, leading to a very pleasant new-keyboard-experience. Would definitely recommend![edit]: I’ve now noticed that it has a couple of issues. 1: Macros are basically utterly non-functional. The instructions are largely unhelpful because they seem to be badly translated, but no matter what, pressing the macro key doesn’t ACTUALLY do what you tell it to. You can record and rerecord the macro as many times as you like but… it never actually works. It doesn’t exactly repeat what you programmed into it. Furthermore it often misses keys entirely no matter how slowly you type in the macro commands, and does so at random.2: While I’m typing despite me pressing keys nowhere near it, a 7 often shows up randomly in my sentences or at the ends of words, sometimes in the middle of them. It’s not a typo. the keyboard literally just randomly inserts the number 7 into words and sometimes I don’t catch it. It’s not… SUPER irritating? It doesn’t happen during games it seems, but it IS slightly concerning.Other than this, it’s pretty great, but I guess you get what you pay for. This keyboard really was very cheap, and while it doesn’t FEEL cheap, there’s… definitely been some corners cut, I’m sure.

The keyboard is chunky, feels very rugged and hard wearing under the fingers (I’d say perfect for heavy typers and people with fat thumbs/fingers). I’m still getting used to the transition from my old keyboard which was lighter and had lower keys, the keys on this keyboard feel higher to me (but then this is my first mechanical keyboard since moving over to a gaming pc). Typing is loud, so if you’re looking for a quiet keyboard or even slightly quiet, this is not the product for you (it’s the space bar that makes the most noise, the other keys are ok if you press lightly, but the space bar clunks no matter how lightly you press it.. TeamSpeak and Voice activated mic users will need to set press-to-talk , as I had to.The backlight function is what you’d expect, you press the light button and control the brightness with the dial at the top of the keyboard. You can cycle through the colours or choose to have “breath mode” on , which cycles through the colours for you (very calming and not as distracting as you’d think). At last, I can play Elite Dangerous with the lights off (goodbye social life!!!).The mouse is comfortable to use for long periods. The DPI is changed by clicking a small button on the top of the mouse, there are no visual confirmations other than a light on and a light off. Click once for speed 1, twice for 2 and 3 for well, you get it. My only gripe with this mouse is the scroll wheel click as your turn it, this gets picked up on my screencasts as background clicks and there’s no way to disable it. Again, you’ll need to keep this in mind if you use voice activated mic apps (there’s nothing worse than hearing someones mic clicking away as they type or use a mouse in the background). The keyboard and mouse are a good combination for the price, great quality and rugged long lasting feel to both. The wrist support for the keyboard is only as good as the position of your keyboard on the desk (seating position and keyboard position are probably the most important factor to consider when trying to decrease wrist strain). The keyboard wrist support did have a dent in it with some scuffs and scratches, but I can live with that.

CONS – Lets get the cons out of the way first. The keys will scratch easily as I found out when i dropped a headphone jack between two of them & pulled it out. When I got the keyboard I also noticed some of the moulding on the keys was a bit dodgey. This lead to the T key sticking against the Y key every other press & was rather annoying. I found there was a piece of plastic that had not been deburred properly at the factory so had to push a precission screw driver down to push the burr off.PROS – The keyboard is very good for how much it costs (I paid £16. I’ve had the keyboard about 9-10 months now & the keys are all working veyr well & none of them have flaked, worn out or gone wrong in any way. Tactile feedback on all of the keys, including the space bar, is still good. The keys seem resistant to skin oils too, I wash my hands often but during tense and long gaming sessions my finger tips go seem to go a bit clammy, but the keyboard doesn’t really adhere much of this (I clean it once a month with Isopropanol anyway). The Back light is good & has Blue, Red & Purple options, with two ways to turn it on or off (FN+Esc or the dedicated key just above the F2 key). You can turn it to pulsating, but that seems more for show as personally, i find it annoying to see at the corner of my eye. The Back lighting is bright & crisp too. There are 10 programmable keys which work well. I use them for Elite Dangerous SYS/ENG/WEP Pip switching (i have sort of use the keys to set up Distributor profiles) & they’ve been flawless. There are also dual function F keys, similar to a laptop keyboard (they have icons on them) & can come in handy at times.1.5m cable length is long enough for most people, depending on how you’ve got your PC set up in your home or work place. It’s not too bad though and works fine for me. The cable is fabric woven over insulated cores & is resistant to kinkys and bending, meaning the cable won’t be breaking on you any time soon.Overall, the keyboard is very good for £15-20 & I can recommend it. Just check the key moulding when you do it as the keys might have small burrs/tabs of plastic poking out from the base of the key.
