Customers say
Customers find the dash cam works excellently and appreciate its crystal clear 1080p rear camera images. Moreover, the camera is well-built, easy to install, and offers good value for money. However, the WiFi connectivity is problematic, with customers reporting difficulties connecting to their phones. Additionally, the recording capability receives mixed feedback, with some customers reporting that the camera stopped recording. The suction mount is also a concern, as customers mention it keeps falling down and losing its adhesive.

Has a some issues
Secondary edit: I’m giving them an extra star for their fantastic customer service (none of this was promised for the low low price of a 5 star review) It’s the kind that keeps you loyal. They didn’t blame me for anything I misread (such as stupidly installing the rear camera sideways and complaining about that. A hinge is NOT needed. Just make sure you install it the right side up. The camera can be fully rotated. Look in your car if you want.) They refunded the hardwire kit and got me one that uses the OBD port since my cars fuse box setup is awful. They have a model that can be tilted up/down and side to side. They got me that to try. I am now able to see the whole road, and was able to put the camera even further over so it’s not smack dab in the face of my passenger.Another thing I like that I forgot to point out is that they come with these clear sheets that go on the window before the adhesive. Makes it easier to get off and doesn’t leave a sticky film behind. The hinge I got left a mess and friggin lifted a bit of my window tint -_- Luckily you can’t tell from the outside unless you know and can’t see it in the car cause it’s up high. Still super upset. I had zero issues like that removing the cameras to change them.I don’t know if other cameras come with higher camera quality. There’s probably some super expensive ones that do. But this is good enough you will be able to see the license if anyone rear ends you or if something happens and you rear end someone.I can’t attest to the setting that makes it so if you’re in an accident, or more importantly if you’re hardwired, make it start recording to catch who sideswiped you in the night for example, and locks the video so it can’t be recorded over. I will say I VERY honestly would like to never be able to review that setting.Edit: the camera does show license plates in front of you, just not super far, as I misread in the listing. So if there’s an incident you at least get that.I’ve been informed that the camera has a large temperature range, including over 150° F, so it should be fine within the car.Customer service is super good. Either they use a much better translator, or it the person isn’t using Google translate. There were no offers made to encourage a star change, just offers to make things better, and point out parts of the listing I misread. Which considering many bad reviews I read were about things mentioned in the listing, I am plenty guilty of as well. Will come back later with edits if needed.Firstly, if your want 24/7 recording, the listing mentions you need the attachment that connects to the fuse box, rather than the cigarette lighter. And luckily the attachment comes with a voltage meter, so it shouldn’t drain your battery.Concerned that it runs so hot. It’s still winter so it’s running in the 60s outside right now and it’s quite warm to the touch. I’d hate to know how it’ll be when the weather is 100 outside.I don’t like that you have to be in the car pretty much to access the cameras files, but I will give, it makes sense. It can’t connect to your phone when you’re quite far from it. The reason it bothers me is if someone breaks into the car and takes the memory card, you’re screwed on footage. Alas. One thing I’m docking for is the picture quality. It’s not nearly as good as it claims to be. It wasn’t able to see the license plate of the neighbor across the street. Besidess that, the quality is pretty clear. You can change the videos to record in either 1, 3 or 5 minute clips. It records two separate videos for the front and rear camera.Another issue I have with it is while the front camera can be adjusted to look higher or lower, it can’t be rotated to the sides. At least not easily. I’m really pushing the suction cup to get it to see my side of the car better. In it’s defence, they expect you to attach it behind your rear view, and I can’t as my car has a giant, I dunno, thing, behind it. (I think it’s the housing for the front camera) So I had to put it more on the passenger side. So I won’t fault them too much there.I will fault them for the lack of adjustiblity of the rearview camera. I have no clue why, but Ford Fusions have the STEEPEST rear window I have ever seen. So right now it’s looking at the clouds. I have purchased a hinge to be able to adjust its view. Shouldn’t need to buy an extra part for the thing. (Then again you shouldn’t have to pay 20 bucks to hook it up to the fuse box either.)Anyway, we’ll see how it goes.

Great Cam and a Great Price! Packed with features
We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can’t show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can’t figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it’s a long up-hill battle to get the other party’s insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it’s serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately!Buy the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to go with it if you want 24/7 monitoring without killing your car battery. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you. Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others:They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.Software updates. We’ve owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added.Proof in the pudding:We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it’s great too.Note: I wasn’t paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’m only a satisfied customer that is enjoying the premium quality and features at a great price vs the big-name competitors and their high prices.

REDTIGER F7N-Plus Front and Rear 4k Dash Cam – Excellent choice for your vehicle and super impressive quality. Overall this is easy to install with everything you need to get it connected, setup and working like 32gb Micro SD card for recording, cables for the 9 volt car adapter, paddles to insert into roof liner and panels to hide the cables.NOTE: Ensure you connect the front/rear cameras and plug into the car power adapter BEFORE full installation to ensure that everything works. Mine had no issues and from the seller I also had a nice email about the camera setup and thanking me for the order. Just a nice touch.NOTE 2: I watched quite a few videos on how to properly run the cables from the front dash cam, connecting and running the rear dash cam and back to the car power socket. Overall it too less then 1 hour to complete the cabling etc. I took some extra time to properly connect the rear camera to the car vs just using the included tape.NOTE 3: IF using front/rear cameras the highest resolution is 2160 front/1080p rear. vs 4k (only when using just the front camera.Video quality – EXCELLENT (night and day, bad weather so far quality has been great!)Setup – EASYCable Mangement – Moderate – take your time and it will fit in nicely and work.GPS tracking – EXCELLENTVideo Playback – EXCELLENT (with the app for IOS or Android)You can also install “REDTIGER PLAYER” onto a windows pc and get full video with speed and GPS data. Cool! The front camera is super secure by a strong suction cup.Hope you like this Dash Cam as well.

Amazon Kunde –
