Reports indicate that approximately 200 workers were present, with over 100 detained by officials from various state and federal agencies, including ICE. The construction workers, caught off guard, were filmed leaving the site in construction vests with their hands tied.
Local attorney Elizabeth Ricci has expressed concern over potential due process violations and the rights of those affected. Reports suggest that detainments have also occurred at courthouses, where migrants arriving for their immigration hearings have been taken into custody.
